T392. Gold and Shakudo Menuki
T392. Menuki worked in shakudo and gold, mounted in a fitted box.5.2 & 5.4 cm in length. Not quite sure what these are meant to represent, maybe some sort of ceremonial or battle staff (if any of you know please fill me in). I have been filled in. These are Takoyaki, a flour pastry filled with octopus. If you’ve ever wanted octopus menuki, here’s your chance. Condition is excellent; only the slightest bit of gold is missing. $275.
