T309. Hibashi: Tea Ceremony Iron Chopsticks. Higo Zogan
T309. A boxed pair of hibashi: iron chopsticks used to rearrange coals during the tea ceremony. 26 cm. long each. The iron sticks are inlaid with leaves: all silver on one and the other has one leaf in gold. Condition is excellent. The label on the box reads, Higo zogan.
I’ve never had a set of hibashi before; no idea what they should be worth or even if there’ll be any interest. How about $125.
