T295.  Iron tsuba with night watchman and bonfire.  6.8 x 7.3 x .5 cm on the plate.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.7 cm.  The watchman is worked in high relief.  His bow is copper and the fire and embers are in gold nunome.  This tsuba came out of the Skip Holbrook collection.  Skip gave it to “Hamano night watch, early Edo Period”.  Thick and dense iron well worked and in excellent condition.  $300.
