Q639.  Shinchu tsuba signed Nanke no Shin Shigechika. 5.9 x 6.35 x .4 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.1 cm. Shinchu is brass, probably among the less commonly used metals for tsuba plate but done nicely on this one. There are a few shallow scratches, mostly on the back and its seppa-dai; they look worse in my pictures than in hand. This tsuba comes in a fitted box.  $225.
