Q584.  Namban tsuba. 6.8 x 7.2 x .5 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .7 x 2.4 cm. I think this one is a bit better than average for Namban; the carving is quite crisp and the seppa-dai is more complex than what is seen usually. At the top, above the orb, is carved on each side a tiny cross. Might this be one of the hidden Christian tsuba?  $250.
