K166.  Iron sukashi tsuba papered to Akasaka.  7.1 x 7.2 x .6 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.7 cm.  This tsuba comes with a paper from the NBTHK; a former owner has provided a translation:

nintei-sho (認定書)
take sukashi-tsuba (竹透鐔)
tetsu-ji (鉄地), kawari-gata (変形), nikubori ji-sukashi (肉彫地透)
mumei: Akasaka (赤坂)
Migi wa tô-kyôkai ni oite shinsa no kekka, tokubetsu-kichô-kodôgu to kantei-shi kore o shô-suru.
(右は當協會に於て審査の結果特別貴重小道具と鑑定しこれを証する)
