C288. Iron tsuba signed Nara Kaji Iyekuni. 8.8 x 9.1 x .5 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .9 x 2.9 cm. Molten silver or possibly sahari has been dripped onto the surface and there is remnant lacquer present also. Iyekuni is known to have worked in Keicho or very earliest Edo period.
