C269. Heianjo Zogan Tsuba with Amida yasuri

C269.  Heianjo Zogan tsuba.  7 x 7 x .4 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.8 cm.  For what I know, amida yasuri are uncommon on Heianjo Zogan work; this one has it.  Grape vines and a fence in inlaid brass and there is quite a bit of old lacquer covering the plate.  Very little of the brass is missing; there are subtle tekkotsu on the rim.  $150.
