B1006.  Volume 5 of the 6 volume set Kanzan Token Koza.  The set was published after the death of Dr. Sato (Kanzan), who was the foremost authority on swords of the Shinto period.  He was also very much up on kodogu, and that’s what this volume covers.  1980.  Clothbound with a slipcase, 9 x 12 1/2″, 452 pages in Japanese.  There were numerous authors for the set, all of them respected scholars.  Great pieces from beginning to end, in crystal clear color and black & white photography.  Beautiful book from a beautiful set.
