C264.  Kin no Tachi To Gin no Tachi 1996.  Softbound, 8 1/4 x 11 3/4″, 116 pages in Japanese.  This is the 1st time with this book for me; didn’t know it existed.  Very early swords, fittings, and other objects from the Kofun, burial mounds dating from the 3rd to 7th centuries AD, are shown in crisp color photogreaphy.  Other books touch on the subject; this is the only one I know of to cover just this topic.
