Masamune was the most influential swordsmith of Japanese history and his swords are among the most valuable of all. The book begins with a 37 page essay on the Swordsmiths of the Soshu Den, and follows with 96 great swords by those smiths, illustrated in crisp black & white photos and thorough descriptions. A very beautiful book.
