B963.  Akita no Toko To Kinko by the NBTHK & Dr. Sato.  1973.  Clothbound, the slipcase is missing, 8 1/2 x 12 1/4″, 141 pages in Japanese.  Akita is a province in northern Honshu, Japan.  This book gives you well done oshigata of swords and photos of fittings & matchlocks from the province.  The last third of the book is photos and oshigata of great blades from all over Japan.  To my knowledge this is the only book specializing in Akita and as such is a valuable reference.

There are faint fading spots on the cloth cover; otherwise condition is excellent.  2 pounds, 6 ounces.  Now $45.
