B696.   Shin Nihonto no Kantei Nyumon by Yuichi & Kazuo.  2013.  Softbound with dust jacket, 5 ¼ x 7 1/4”, 386 pages in Japanese.  A great little book of Kantei, the ability to judge when and by whom a sword was made without looking at the signature.  Lots of oshigata (nearly every page) and many sections of puzzle and answer format.  This is sold with a complete translation into English, done by Harry Watson in 1991. The translation will be loose sheets and prinetd one side from Harry’s CD, about 150 pages.

The book has suffered non fatal water damage. The last 2 pages, advertising for another book, are stuck together and the book is a bit puckered (see my last picture, which is this book. The other pictures are from a different copy sold earlier).  Priced accordingly.  2 pounds, 11 ounces.  $65.
