B502.  The Japanese Sword: Iron Craftsmanship and the Warrior Spirit by The Tokyo National Museum.  1997.  Softbound, 8 ¾ x 11 ¾”, 378 pages in Japanese with a list of the 351 plates in English.  This was a very special exhibition at the National Museum: incredible items (many National Treasures), a beautiful book.  This title is included (as Nihon no Katana)in the Index of Japanese Sword Literature on the JSS/US website.

The cover is bumped and sun faded. The book is well read but not abused.  4 pounds.  Normally $60; this copy for $30.
