B329.  Akamatsu Masanori by Oyama.  1977.  Clothbound with slipcase, 8 ½ x 12 ¼”, 170 pages in Japanese with an introduction and description of plates in English (9 pages).  Akamatsu Masanori (1455 – 1496) was a Feudal daimyo of 3 provinces who made swords in his spare time, studying with Osafune Munemitsu.  This is a beautiful book about the man and the swords he made.  Crisp photos and well don oshigata illustrate the text.  Inside the front cover is the bookplate of Col. Dean Hartley.
