B793.  The Hotei Encyclopedia of Japanese Woodblock Prints by Amy Reigle Newland.  2005.  2 volumes clothbound with dust jackets and slipcase, 10 x 12″, 600 pages total in English.  Not my usual book topic but this came in with a group of other titles and it is beautiful.  The 1st volume is very extensive text about the history and artists of woodblock and color photos of prints.  The 2nd volume is signatures, publisher’s and censor’s seals, and other useful information.

The slipcase is lighter weight than normal and it has a 1 3/4″ tear in a bottom edge.  The books are like new condition.  9 pounds, 6 ounces.  Was $100, now $60.
