B593.  Nihon no Furuju by Sawada Taira.   1995.  Softbound, 8 1/2 x 12″, 231 pages in Japanese.  This is a very impressive book about old Japanese guns.  After a few pages of color plates at the front the rest of the book is given to text and extensive black & white photography (there are very few pages without at least 1 photograph).  Everything from small pistols to cannons, with lots of detail throughout: it’s difficult to imagine that there is a more thorough coverage of the subject.

Condition is excellent, like new.  2 pounds, 9 ounces.  Was $130, now $95
