B643.  Kano Natsuo Meihin Shu by Ikeda & Yoshida.  1972.  Clothbound with slipcase, 8 1/2 x 12″, 249 pages in Japanese.  Kano Natsuo (1828-1898) was the last important kodogu artist of the Samurai era; his work is exquisite.  There is little text in this book; from front to back it is mostly photos of the art.  Hundreds of pieces are illustrated in black & white with a few in color photos: tsuba, menuki, kotsuka, boxes, plaques, drawings, and more.  Great stuff; great book.

The slipcase is lightly scuffed in a couple spots and one edge is separating (a corner of the spine of the slipcase).  The book itself is in excellent condition.  4 pounds, 2 ounces.  Was $200, now $175.
