B560.  Zabo Tansen by Kokubo & Ootsubo.  1974.  Clothbound with slipcase, 8 1/2 x 12″, 555 pages in japanese.  When this book came in today it was the 1st time I’d ever seen a copy; I’m impressed.  Not a lot of text, crisp photos, a few in color, of 568 pieces of kodogu (almost all tsuba), most shown both sides: this is a very beautiful book and a great reference.

The spine of the book is sun faded and there are small dots of stain on the outside of the page block (this doesn’t continue on inside the book); in other words, a good reading copy.  8 pounds, 10 ounces.  Now $95.
