B107.   Tanko: Bushu Ito Ha by Akimoto.  1999.  Hardbound, 8 ½ x 12”, 103 pages in Japanese.  Hundreds of crisp black & white photos, with many signature close-ups, of tsuba by artists of the Bushu school.

This copy of the book is water damaged: stains on the covers, the book is a bit bent, and pages in the front half of the book have a slight pucker. Pictures and text, however, are not affected. Call this a good reading copy. 1 pound, 11 ounces.  Normally I ask $75 for the book; this one can be had for $40.
