B1000. Toshin Shokoku: Hashimoto Shuha. Clothbound, 8 1/2 x 12″, 49 pages in Japanese. Hashimoto Shuha, born in 1949, is a very well respected horimono (carving on the sword) artist; he has won many awards in Japanese national competition. This is a sweet, thin book with dozens of crisp black & white photographs of his work. At the back of the book are a few pages with drawings of the carving process.
Other than for a couple small marks on the back cover the book is in excellent condition. 1 pound, 3 ounces. $45.
